Beijing Odyssey Chemicals Co., Ltd. is set up in1992. It is a joint venture with new high technology in the field of fluorescent brighteners and intermediates in researching, producing, marketing and distributing for pharmaceutical and the other industries. Beijing Odyssey has a laboratory, three Chemical plants, 16 production lines, over 100 special sets of installations for chemical production and nearly 500 staff members.

Since the company is established, over 100 products have been manufactured, which are intensively utilized in the industries of pharmacy, reagents, fluorescent brighteners and rubber assistants. The products have been exported to over 30 countries and regions worldwide. The turnover in the year of 2000 reached 8 million U.S.D. Our current main products are classified into 3 kinds. The first kind is: Fluorescent Brighteners Series of products. The second kind is: Organic Bulk Series with over 10 products, such as p-Tolunitrile, o-Tolunitrile, m-Tolunitrile and Benzonitrile. The third kind is: Specialty Chemicals with over 100 products including pharmaceuticals intermediates and fluorescent brighteners intermediates, such as 2,2-Dimethyl Butyric Acid, Pinacol, 2-Hydroxy-5-Nitrobenzaldehyde, Bromotriphenylethylene, 4-Hydroxy TEMPO, 2,6-Pyridinedicarboxylic acid, 2-Amino-3-Hydroxy pyridine, o-Phthalaldehyde, 4-Cyanokenzoic acid, 4-Biphenylacetic acid.
